Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Tax and Corporate Accounting Manager, the role includes responsibilities in the corporate accounting function, internal and external reporting, and support of the treasury and controlling functions as needed. The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly internal management reporting
- External financial reporting relating to federal agencies
- Goods in transit reconciliation and revenue recognition
- Periodic Unit Price to Profit Analysis and PA cycles
- Responsible for Sales/ AR close processes at month end
- Sales tax certificate exemption validation from customers
- Mexico VAT monthly payment entry / VAT netting, reconciliation
- Mexico general ledger reconciliation
- Year-end Reporting to parent company
- Preparation of various audit schedules
- Assist in preparation of tax schedules
- IFRS 16 Leasing entry calculation
- Selling, general and administrative budget
- Assist in other projects as needed in other finance areas
- Perform other job tasts as assigned.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting
Background and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years relevant experience in Finance / Accounting

- Manufacturing experience and also within the chemical industry
- Experience in Big 4 or in public accounting
Competencies and Skills:
- Effective communication skills
- SAP / ERP knowledge
- Detail oriented and good analytical skills
- MS Office: Excel (advanced), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Business Intelligence software
Notable Working Conditions: Office environment with extensive computer use, hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), flexible work schedule
